Hello everyone and welcome!

     My name is Zack Ortega. I am a Northern Colorado native, born and raised in Greeley, CO. I married my best friend and wife in 2021 and currently work as a full-time delivery driver. In my free-time, I enjoy travelling with my wife, playing with our cats and dog, watching movies, and working out at the gym.

     Growing up, I knew very little about my family’s health history and, honestly, I did not take my health too seriously until I was a teenager when a friend introduced me to a local gym. The moment I stepped into that gym, my interest in fitness began. In high school, I joined a weight-lifting class where I learned the importance of taking care of myself not only mentally, but physically. Nothing made me happier than seeing myself improve my skills as a weight-lifter and witnessing my own body become stronger.

     Since then, l have competed in 5 Jack Robinson Powerlifting Classic competitions, placing within the top 3 in my weight class division. Most recently, I competed in the National Athlete Strength Association competition in 2023, in which I placed 1st in my weight class division.

     These days, I strive to make my health a priority by going to the gym 3-5 days per week because I believe keeping myself active helps me in every aspect of my life. Working out pushes me to maintain a positive mindset so that I can continue to be the best husband, son, and friend I can be for as long as possible.
